AN EIGHT-WEEK LEARNING JOURNEY IN ROBOTICS WITH FUTUREAI
Students from FutureSparQ Academy have successfully completed their participation in the 13th VAS Primary Robotics Competition under the theme Mission Mars, marking an important milestone after approximately eight weeks of learning and exploring robotics through the FutureAI program.
Although they had only recently begun their robotics journey, the students confidently stepped into a real competition environment where every challenge required critical thinking, programming skills, teamwork, and the ability to make decisions under time constraints.
Throughout the Mission Mars challenge, each team continuously refined its strategies, tested different solutions, and adapted to unexpected situations whenever their robots did not perform as planned. These real-world challenges provided valuable opportunities for students to apply the knowledge and skills they had developed throughout the program in an authentic, hands-on setting.
At FutureSparQ Academy, the greatest achievement of the competition is not defined by rankings or awards, but by the learning journey itself. Every challenge encouraged students to strengthen their problem-solving abilities, logical thinking, collaboration, perseverance, and resilience while embracing continuous improvement through experimentation.
The competition also reflects the educational philosophy behind the FutureAI program: technology is more than learning how to code or operate robots. It is a powerful medium through which children develop creativity, adaptability, confidence, and the future-ready skills needed to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.
With this year’s theme, “Be The VAS Changeneration – Innovating with Kindness,” the competition provided students with meaningful experiential learning opportunities while encouraging them to use technology responsibly and create positive impact through innovation.
Participating in the 13th VAS Primary Robotics Competition represents one of the first milestones in the learning journey of FutureAI students.
